Abstract
The final project is a scientific work based on independent student activities in the form of research results that discuss a problem in the field of science in the field of study program pursued by students using applicable rules and guided by a supervisor. The supervisor has the role of assisting students in preparing the final project. However, the lack of information about supervisors can hinder students in determining supervisors. Recommendation systems are features and techniques in software that provide something useful for users. The recommendation system also provides recommendations from several items that are potentially interesting to users. The recommendations are closely related to decision-making, such as the datasets used. For this reason, a system was created to help and facilitate the process of a problem in determining a thesis supervisor, namely a decision support system using the TF-IDF and Naïve Bayes methods in determining the results of appropriate supervisor recommendations.
