Abstract
Urinary tract infection is a disease that is often suffered by Indonesian people. Busyness is one of the reasons why people, especially women, ignore their health. Potential complications of UTI include kidney failure or infection that becomes inflamed and spreads through the bloodstream. The current problem is the limited number of specialist urologists in several places, such as the Selasih Regional Hospital, Pelalawan Regency. Based on this problem, it is necessary to have an expert system to make it easier to diagnose urinary tract infections at Selasih Regional Hospital, Pelalawan Regency so that patients do not have to queue and wait a long time to carry out examinations. An expert system is a system that tries to adopt human knowledge to a computer so that the computer can find out and provide the right solution as experts usually do. In this research, an expert system will be designed to diagnose urinary tract infections using the Certanty factor method
