Abstract

Scientific writing is Scientific work can be interpreted as a paper that contains scientific science. Scientific work is essentially a human product on the basis of scientific knowledge, attitudes and ways of thinking. The problem discussed in this study is the Development of Project-Based Scientific Writing Learning Writing Assessment in Class XI of SMA N 1 Rengat Barat. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Development of Project-Based Scientific Writing Learning Writing Assessment in Class XI of SMA N 1 Rengat Barat. The population in this study was class XI students totaling 29 people. The type of research used is development research in the field of Education or known as Research and Development (R &; D). The data collection techniques used are observation and tests. The findings of this study are; Based on the results of the practicality test, among others, this tool is easy to use in conducting assessments but should be given scoring guidelines in the form of grades that are ready to be included in the teacher's grade list. Based on trials of the use of products by researchers and teachers in learning scientific paper material, it is known that 60% of students stated that teacher performance is very good in providing students with stimuli by showing pieces of pictures to focus attention through power points about what themes / topics can be raised into simple scientific papers. From the application of the project assessment instrument, it was found that the product already represented the content of the curriculum / competence with a score of 84% in the very practical category, the project-based learning model components were detailed, clear, and easy to understand with a score of 91% in the very practical category. And the project-based learning model with a score of 91% in the category is very practical.
