Abstract

The Central Statistics Agency reported that the unemployment rate in Indonesia on February 2024 it will reach 7.2 million people. Body Center Statistics (2024) also noted that the open unemployment rate as of February 2024 among high school graduates was still quite high, namely 2.1 million people. Based on observations, many students have no interest in entrepreneurship. This study aims to develop Chemo-Entrepreneurship-based module teaching materials, with the aim that students who do not continue their education to the college level, they can create their own jobs with their entrepreneurial skills. This research was conducted at SMAN 3 Siak Hulu. The research method used is Research and Development or R&D with the 4D development model but limited to the fourth stage. Data collection is done with three stages consisting of observation, interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that the module teaching materials were on very valid criteria based on the validation of 4 validators with a score of 85% each from material experts and 97% from media experts. Based on teacher and student responses, this module teaching material is in very practical criteria. The practicality value of the teacher's response was 95% and the student's response was 89%. It can be concluded that the Chemo-Entrepreneurship-based module teaching materials developed are very valid or very feasible to be used in the learning process by teachers and students at SMAN 3 Siak Hulu.
