Abstract

Chicken broilers or broiler chickens are livestock that are widely cultivated by humans for consumption, based on data from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency, there are 2,970,493,660 populations throughout Indonesia, while in Riau Province there are 90,784,286 populations in 2020. This research uses CBR (Case Based Reasoning) and Tversky with the aim of solving problems or finding out the symptoms of disease experienced by broiler chickens and then looking for solutions in finding ways to cure diseases based on the same symptoms and symptoms that have occurred before. This research data was obtained from interviews with an expert or veterinarian by processing the data using Miles and Huberman. Application testing is carried out using the black box testing method to ensure the application functions well. System testing with experts was carried out by matching the diagnosis results between the two based on 3 cases with different symptoms. The test results obtained are that the system test results have the same diagnostic results as the expert test results so that the system can be used for decision making in determining broiler chicken diseases. Thus, this application has the potential to become a reference for breeders to find out which diseases broiler chickens are suffering from.
