Abstract
The selection of a business location is a key factor in the success or failure of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) because a strategic location can attract more customers and enhance operational efficiency. This study aims to identify and prioritize criteria for business location selection for MSMEs, develop a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, and validate and implement the DSS through a case study on MSMEs. Using AHP, decision-making is conducted through pairwise comparisons to determine the priority of alternatives based on specific criteria, accommodating inconsistencies in assessments. The result of this study is the development of a web-based DSS application using the AHP method, which is expected to assist MSMEs in selecting an optimal business location.
