Abstract
The rapid development of technology has had a positive impact on human life, including making daily activities easier. This research aims to design and develop an automatic control system for gates using Bluetooth technology. By using an ESP32 microcontroller and an Android application, this system allows users to open and close the gate remotely, thereby increasing comfort and safety, especially for elderly users and children. This system consists of ESP32 hardware connected to the motor driver to drive stepper motors, as well as software in the form of an Android application developed using MIT App Inventor. Users can operate the gate via a Bluetooth connection, which eliminates the need for physical keys or remote controls that are vulnerable to loss or theft. The research results show that this system is effective in automating the gate opening and closing process, reducing security risks associated with physical locks, and increasing time efficiency. In addition, this system allows easy access for guests or family members via a mobile application. This research is limited to the use of Bluetooth as a communication technology and does not include other communication technologies
