Abstract
Determining road repair priorities is a crucial aspect of urban infrastructure management. In Pekanbaru City, there is an urgent need to establish an effective and efficient method for prioritizing road repairs to optimize the use of limited resources. This study proposes the implementation of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as a decision-making tool to determine road repair priorities. The SAW method was chosen for its ability to handle various criteria and provide objective assessments based on predetermined weights. This study involves several key steps: collecting data on roads requiring repair, determining criteria and weights, and applying the SAW method to produce a priority ranking. The results indicate that the SAW method can provide clear and structured recommendations on which roads should be repaired first based on actual conditions and established criteria weights. Thus, the implementation of this method is expected to assist the Pekanbaru City government in making more accurate and efficient decisions regarding road infrastructure repairs.
