Abstract
This research aims to develop an Augmented Reality (AR) based interactive learning application that focuses on building chest muscle mass. This application is designed to provide better education about chest muscle training techniques and the correct use of gym equipment. The methodology used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. The results showed that this application is able to display 3D object animations of various chest muscle training movements, including flat dumbell bench press, incline dumbell bench press, dumbell pullover, peck deck fly, cable crossovers, middle cable pec fly, low cable pec fly, flat barbell bench press, and incline barbell bench press. Application testing is done with the Black Box method, light intensity testing, distance testing, and by tracking objects. The test results show that this application can be accessed properly in various lighting conditions and distances, and is able to track objects accurately. The system implementation showed that the app is effective in helping users understand and perform chest muscle exercises correctly. The app provides clear and interactive visual guidance, thus improving users' understanding of proper exercise techniques and reducing the risk of injury. In addition, this app is expected to be an interactive and effective learning resource for the general public as well as fitness center members. This research contributes to the development of AR-based learning technology, especially in the field of fitness and sports. By utilizing AR, this app not only offers a more engaging learning experience, but also improves exercise effectiveness through realistic visualization and interactive instructions. The results of this study also open up further opportunities in AR applications for the Health and sports fields.
