Abstract

Augmented Realty (AR) is a technology that creates 2D and 3D virtual objects that are applied in real conditions, then the virtual objects are projected in realtime and are closer to the real environment of the system. The existence of technology, especially smartphones, which are now increasingly developing, must be addressed wisely. In the field of education, the decreasing interest in learning students and students of SMPN 2 Bangko is due to technological developments, the learning media that is widely used at this time still many use books that contain writing and a few pictures so that students feel bored and less imaginative when learning. This application was created with the aim of building learning media about vibration and wave differences accompanied by examples using augmented reality to increase student learning motivation and students' understanding of vibration and wave difference materials accompanied by examples. The application is created using Blender 3D, Unity as a 3D display and by using the markerless method and using the ARCore SDK library. Based on the tests carried out, animations can be displayed indoors and outdoors and can track locations anywhere provided that the light intensity is at least 6 lux light intensity, and in distance testing, at a distance of at least 5cm 3D animations can appear. Based on user testing, 89% of the presentation was obtained so that the application can be implemented as a learning medium for vibrations and waves, accompanied by examples of using augmented reality for students.
