Abstract
Tracer study or graduate tracking study, is one of the methods used by schools to evaluate and understand the career journey and relevance of the education received by their alumni in the world of work. The tracer study aims to collect information regarding employment status, suitability of the job to the field of study, skills needed in the world of work, as well as feedback on the educational curriculum that has been taken. SMA Negeri 2 Kerinci Kanan is a senior secondary education institution that is committed to providing quality education that is relevant to the needs of the world of work. To ensure that the educational programs provided are in line with the expectations and needs of alumni in the world of work. The tracer study system is used to evaluate the extent to which the education program at SMA Negeri 2 Kerinci Kanan has succeeded in preparing students for life after graduation. SMA Negeri 2 Kerinci is currently implementing a manual tracer study to collect data from alumni. With the development of the Alumni Tracer Study Information System for SMA Negeri 2 Kerinci Kanan, it can help and make it easier for schools to manage alumni data and carry out tracer studies on alumni and the results of filling out alumni questionnaires can be used as reference material for school evaluations, while the output of the questionnaire results is in the form of graphs that can be easily understood by various parties.
