Abstract

This research method is a survey. The research was conducted in May 2023. Data collection techniques were questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The population in this study were all 250 students of class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used proportationate stratified random sampling so that the sample in the study was 147 students. The distributed questionnaire consisted of 44 statements. The results of this study internally consisted of an average physiological aspect of 76.75% in the moderate category. Psychological Aspect, 69.78% moderate category. Then external factors consist of aspects of the school environment 66.62% in the low category. family environment 70.68% moderate category. community environment, 69.25% medium category. The overall average indicator is 70.61% in the medium category. It can be concluded that the Perception of Student Learning Difficulties in Learning Biology Class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru in the Academic Year 2022/2023 is in the moderate category.
