Abstract
State Elementary School 026 Sukajadi Dumai is an educational institution that organizes educational programs as a basis for preparing its students. This research was carried out with the aim of assisting the procurement committee in determining outstanding teachers using a decision support system. This research uses the Simple Additive Weighting method, namely by analyzing the assessment criteria by taking data through direct interviews with the Procurement Committee. The results of this research show that the potential of this system is to provide recommendations for which teacher will be the winner in the selection process by producing a ranking output from the assessment criteria analyzed. The application of the decisions of the selected teachers and the design of this software system is said to be feasible for determining outstanding teachers using the assessment criteria and participant document assessment data that have been taken.
