Abstract

The research was conducted with the learning media aim of producing math student worksheets (SW) with the Discovery Learning approach on valid cubes and blocks material for class VIII Imam Syafi’i 2 Pekanbaru. This research isa developmental study using the R%D. The data collection technique used the non-test technique, namely by using validationsheets which were given to 2 validators consisting of 2 lecturers in mathematics education at FKIP UIR. The data analysis technique used is a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of the research showed that the eligibility of student worksheets (SW) had an average of the four validators, namely 80,97% with the criteria “quite valid”. Basedon these results it can be concluded that the development of student worksheets (SW) mathematics with the Discovery Learning approach oncubes and blocks material is feasible to use and try out in class VIII Imam Syafi’i 2 Pekanbaru.
