Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of producing math student worksheets (SW) with the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach on valid quadrilaterals and triangles material for class VII SMPN 6 Siak Hulu. This research is a development study using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely the Analysis stage, the Design stage, the Development stage, the Implementation stage and the Evaluation stage. However, in this study the researchers did not reach the stage of testing practicality so that the Implementation stage could not be applied. The data collection technique used the non-test technique, namely by using validation sheets which were given to 4 validators consisting of 2 lecturers in mathematics education at FKIP UIR and 2 teachers in mathematics at SMPN 6 Siak Hulu. The data analysis technique used is a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of the research showed that the eligibility of student worksheets (SW) had an average of the four validators, namely 80,97% with the criteria “quite valid”. Based on these results it can be concluded that the development of student worksheets (SW) mathematics with the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach on quadrilaterals and triangles material is feasible to use and try out in class VII SMPN 6 Siak Hulu.
