Abstract
A fire is a situation where a building in a place such as a house/settlement, factory, market, building and others is hit by a fire that causes casualties and/or losses. Fire is a disaster that often occurs in densely populated areas such as urban areas. Fires are caused by many factors, it can be due to human negligence that forgets to extinguish fires in certain places such as kitchens, it can be due to the occurrence of electrical short circuits both in installations and electronic devices, and there are many factors that can cause fires. In general, fire is defined as an oxidation event that involves three elements that must be present, namely combustible fuel, oxygen in the air, and energy or heat sources that result in property loss, injury and even death. With the advancement of technology in the 20th century, almost all daily necessities are inseparable from electrical rations, ranging from work tools to household furniture. In these conditions, it is very vulnerable to fire due to short circuits due to careless use. This problem can be solved with automatic devices that can detect fires and fire spots, which can be applied indoors as well as outdoors. Internet of Things (IoT) as a solution to the above problem, where this tool can be integrated online so that it is easy to get information that can be conveyed quickly, with the note that there must be an internet connection. The system to be built uses a fire sensor that functions to detect the presence of fire, GPS functions to detect fire points and ESP32-CAM as a camera to photograph the state of the location by using a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller as a controller and also data output from sensors that can send notifications on Telegram to mobile users. With the aim of making it easier for Pekanbaru city firefighters to handle and minimize large fires. With the working principle where if a fire is detected exceeding the set limit, the model will send a notification in the form of a location point around the cold water village and in the form of a photo of the situation to the telegram of the firefighters.
