Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of public services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency based on the concept of Value for money. This research is a quantitative study. The population in this study is focused on Kuantan Singingi Regency, precisely Kuantan Tengah District with a population of 54,381 people. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a sample size of 100 samples, consisting of 85 samples from the community and 15 samples from officers or employees of the Population and Civil Registration Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The data source is primary data with a data collection method using a questionnaire that is distributed directly to the community who come to the Population and Civil Registration Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency and officers or employees of the Population and Civil Registration Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The data analysis technique uses the satisfaction interval equation which aims to determine the level of community satisfaction. The results of this study indicate that the Population and Civil Registration Service of Kuantan Singingi Regency has implemented the Value for money concept in its service performance.
