Abstract
A web server security vulnerability is a gap or weak point in a website's security system that can be exploited by an attacker to access sensitive data, damage the integrity of the site, or carry out other attacks. Security vulnerabilities can arise from various factors and can give attackers access to steal user data, take over websites. An attack on a website server is an attempt carried out by an individual or group with the aim of damaging, taking over, or stopping the normal function of a server that runs a website. The motivations behind attacks on website servers can vary, including financial gain, reputational damage, or even ideological motives. Usually DDoS attacks are aimed at government agencies, media, retail and financial institutions. The victim bears the risk of losing customers due to the website being unavailable and of course affecting the reputation of the organization. The testing process was carried out using JMeter and Gatling software using average parameters, Std. dev, error request, throughput and send package using the stress test method, it is known that SIPA FT UIR has quite good performance because it uses a Content Delivery Network which can block several accesses that are considered threats. So that system traffic becomes more stable and avoids attacks from outside parties, using a Content Delivery Network is an effective and efficient solution for websites.
