Abstract
As a mainstay tourism destination in Kampar Regency, the XIII Koto Kampar natural tourism area has a variety of natural resources that have not been optimally utilized, the location between distant tourist destinations that are far apart is also one of the causes of the lack of development of the XIII Koto Kampar natural tourism area, so it is necessary to analyze the suitability of natural tourism areas based on tourism geography to find out that the tourism area is suitable to be a tourist spot. The purpose of this research is to analyze the suitability of integrated natural tourism areas through tourism geography in XIII Koto Kampar District. This research uses quantitative and qualitative deductive methods focusing on reviewing the criteria in the development of the natural tourism area XIII Koto Kampar based on tourism geography. The analysis technique in this research is identifying the characteristics of natural tourism area XIII Koto Kampar based on tourism geography with scoring and intersect analysis, analyzing influential criteria with delphi analysis and analysis of the suitability of natural tourism area XIII Koto Kampar based on tourism geography with intersect analysis which becomes an output in the form of a suitability map. The results obtained in this study are tourist destinations that are very compatible with the criteria for the development of natural tourism areas based on tourism geography are Danau Rusa, Pulo Simo Waterfall and Panorama Ulu Kasok.
