Abstract

THE EFFECT OF WORK MOTIVATION AND WORK DISCIPLINE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT MUTIARA HOTEL PEKANBARU TASYA NURRANA DZAKIYYAH 185210146 This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Mutiara Merdeka Pekanbaru Hotel. The sampling technique in this study was to use a purposive sampling technique. In this case the researcher took part of the population as a sample by distributing questionnaires to employees, totaling 90 samples. The method used is descriptive analysis and Smart PLS 3.0 analysis. The results showed that (1) simultaneously work motivation and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) partially work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and (3) partially work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
