Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the effect of work motivation and compensation on employee performance at the Cooperative and SMEs Office in the city of Pekanbaru.The research population of employees who work is 33 people. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique. So the sample is 33 employees. Collecting data using a questionnaire and analyzing data using simple regression, Based on the results of the study, it showed that Employee work Motivation and Compensation at the Cooperative and UMKM Office in the city of Pekanbaru had gone very well, in which most of the employees gave responses that strongly agreed. The performance of employees at the office of Cooperatives and SMEs in the city of Pekanbaru is in the very good category because most of the employees who responded strongly agreed that they had worked optimally. Work Motivation and Compensation have positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs in the city of Pekanbaru
