Abstract

This study is here to see this, especially regarding the communication strategy of superiors to subordinates of the Indragiri Hulu DLHK in the management of waste at the Rengat City Morning Market. The research method used is a qualitative research method with descriptive analysis presentation. The results of the study show that the Indragiri Hulu DLHK communication strategy for waste management at the Rengat City Morning Market, there are at least several strategies that include four steps, namely formal, informal communication strategies, socialization or direct campaigns to the community. Concrete examples of the DLHK communication strategy are with a formal policy-based approach (SOP), technical coordination in the field, organizing work teams, education and socialization, to strategic responses which are also categorized at the evaluation stage
