Abstract

THE EFFECT OF WORKETHIC ON TEACHER JOB SATISFACTION AT VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (SMK) NEGERI 1 BUNUT PELALAWAN RE GENCY BY YUMIATI 175211035 The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze how much influence the work ethic has on the job saticfaction of teacher at the 1 Bunut Vocational High School, Pelalawan Districkt. With a population of all teacher at SMK 1 Bunut, totaling 35 people. The date collection method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis. The test results by the coffecient of determination (R2) show that Rsquare obtained a value of 0,162 or 16,2%, meaning that the work ethic variabel influences the job satisfaction variabel. The remaining 83,8% is influenced by other variables. Through the t-test it was concluded that the work ethic variable had a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri1 Bunut Teacher, Pelalawan District. Through the t-test, it is concluded that the ethos variable (X) has a t-count value of 2,592 ? t-table 2,034 with a significant level of 0.16 ? 0.05, so the first hypothesis (HI) has a significant effect. Thus it can be concluded that work ethic (X) has a significant effect on job satisfaction (Y) in Bunut 1 Vocational High School Teachers, Pelalawan district. School leaders need to build a work ethic by providing advice, examples and input when carrying out supervision activities. school principals also need to provide work challenges to train the confidence and confidence of teachers in carrying out teaching tasks. So that it is expected to be able to maintain, develop work ethic and job satisfaction, always pay attention to the rules that have been set in order to achieve better goals.
