Abstract

In the business world, obstacles often occur that require a business actor to borrow from institutions that provide credit or loans. One of the non-banking institutions that provides loans and is trusted by the community is the Sejahtera Business Savings Cooperative. Lending to members does not only require every member of the cooperative to come to the location, this is because there is a system of cooperative officers who operate by offering directly to prospective customers who will borrow according to their business needs. This also causes many problems in terms of repaying loans or what is called bad credit. The main problem in this study is how prevention efforts can be made so that conflicts do not occur between "orderlies" as debt collectors and members as debtors in collecting debts. The research method used by researchers is empirical legal research, namely by way of a survey or directly to the research location, with the nature of the research that is descriptive, namely the author interviews respondents and tries to provide a detailed description. The results of the research that the author obtained are legal remedies that can be taken by the cooperative if there are problems in terms of paying debts and avoiding conflicts that can occur between members of the cooperative as debtors and the cooperative as creditors who are represented by cooperative officers as orderlies who carry out billing for each member experiencing bad credit
