Abstract

ABSTRACT The digital wallet fintech apps are widely used by people in Indonesia and there are several ways to carry out transactions, but in reality there are still many people who still don't understand how a transaction process is contained in a digital wallet application. Islamic law has regulated various forms of transactions and also transactions carried out digitally, in this regard the Muslim community in Indonesia still does not understand the transaction rules contained in Islamic law. Therefore the author will explain how the digital transaction system works in digital wallet-type fintech applications and the rules of Islamic law in Indonesia regarding transactions contained in digital wallet fintech applications. The method used in this study is a combined method of normative and empirical, where the data obtained is not only from the print media but it can also be obtained by doing direct interviews with informants in order to obtain more certain data, This research has descriptive character and the research location was in Pekanbaru City, especially the people who use digital payment system in fintech digital wallet apps. Based on the research that has been done by the authors, it can be concluded that there are still many people who do not understand about the transactions contained in the digital wallet fintech application and the possibility that there is a gharar element in the digital wallet fintech application transaction system.
