Abstract

This research was conducted in Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province. The aim of this research is to explain how to identify leading sectors in Bintan Regency. This analysis is a type of library research which is descriptive quantitative in nature. The data used is time series data from 2019 to 2023 taken from the Bintan Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and literature related to this research. The results of this research use LQ and DLQ analysis which are the most superior in the Manufacturing Industry sector, the Wholesale and Retail Trade sector, Car and Motorcycle Repair as well as the Accommodation and Food and Drink Provision Categories and sectors which play a role in economic growth in Bintan Regency.
