Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (TJSP), also known as corporate social and environmental responsibility (TJSL), has been mandated in Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies in article 74 to be implemented. As a country that aims to prosper public life as stated in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, this reflects that the aim of the State of Indonesia is a welfare state or welfare state. Initially CSR was voluntary and then became an obligation regulated in Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies. This reflects that the state has introduced CSR as one of the instruments to create a welfare state. In this study the main problem is how PT. Telkomsel Pekanbaru branch in fulfilling its obligations to carry out corporate social responsibility (CSR) as well as any obstacles that occur in the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) PT. Telkomsel Pekanbaru branch. While this research method uses an empirical juridical research approach, namely an approach that examines legal aspects in carrying out corporate social responsibility activities at PT. Telkomsel Cab Pekanbaru While the nature of this research is qualitative in nature, which is a method to see the reality of the implementation of corporate social responsibility at PT. Telkomsel Cab Pekanbaru The results of the author's research are the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility of PT. The Pekanbaru branch of Telkomsel that has been implemented includes the Baktiku Negeriku program, IndonesiaNEXT, Nextdev, Digital creative entrepreneur (DCE), the earth care program (plastic waste management), Telkomsel Alert (spreading groceries), working with Dompet Duafa to distribute aid, TERRA (accelerating network repair due to natural disasters), and constraints of PT. Telkomsel in implementing CSR is constrained by funds and public relations. Different responses from the community.
