Abstract

Abstract The Influence of Instagram Social Media @brosispku on Buying Interest in Followers Tasha Ananda 199110129 This study aims to find out whether there is an influence from @brosispku Instagram account on buying preference and also to find out how close and high the relationship between the two variables is. The method used in this study is the quantitative approach method. By uses the S-O-R (Stimulus, Organism, Response) theory which explains how stimuli cause reactions, organisms are able to create a behavior if there is a special stimulus, so that the effect that occurs is the response resulting from the stimulus. The sample in this study is 100 respondents who are followers of @brosispku, using probability sampling techniques. The data obtained were tested with a validity test, reliability test, and simple regression test. The results of this study show that there is a significant influence on Instagram social media on followers' buying interest. The results of the t-test in this study are that t calculates > t table = 10,254 > 1,984, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of the correlation coefficient test of 0.719 show that Instagram social media has a high and positive relationship with the buying interest of followers. The results of the determination coefficient test of 51.8% where Instagram social media @brosispku have an influence of 51.8% on the buying interest of followers.
