Abstract
The objective of the research is to find out the significant effect of students’ reading comprehension by using Window Notes Strategy of the tenth grade student at SMA 3 Siak Hulu. In this case, in desriptive text. This research also to find out how the Window Notes strategy can give the significant effect of the tenth grade in student reading comprehension. The writer carried out experimental research which focus to prove wether there was a significant effect by using Window Notes in students reading comprehension. The research was the experimental research. It has been conducted during the period of November 2013. The population of this research is the tenth grade students of SMA 3 Siak Hulu 2023-2024 academic year. The writer used test as the instruments which include pre-test and post-test. The forms of the test were multiple choice test in Descriptive text. In testing hypothesis, two tailed was compared by using t-test. After all average score were calculated so, the writer found t1>to (7.105>2.063) in alpha decision level with the degree freedong (df) 24. The significant effect made by students 0.5% in level of significant ? = 0.05. consequently null hyphothesis is rejected. In conclusively, this research has shown that there is significant effect on students reading comprehensiin by using Window Notes strategy as measured by multiple choice question of the tenth grade student at SMA 3 Siak Hulu.
