Abstract
the influence of religiosity and patience on the psychological well-being of migrant students. Migrant students often face academic pressure, limited social support, and difficulties adapting to a new environment, all of which can affect their psychological well-being. In this context, religiosity and patience are considered protective factors that support mental resilience. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 253 migrant students from the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Islam Riau, selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used included the religiosity scale (4-BDRS), the Three-Factor Patience Scale, and a psychological well-being scale based on Ryff's theory. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the help of Smart-PLS 3.0. The results showed that religiosity had a positive and significant effect on psychological well-being of 0,298, T = 5.957, P < 0.001, as did patience of 0.455, T = 9.527, P < 0.001. The R value of 0.389 indicates that these two variables jointly explain 38.9% of the variance in psychological well-being. These findings suggest that migrant students with higher levels of religiosity and patience tend to have better psychological well-being. This study is expected to serve as a reference for developing character and spiritual development programs to support students' mental health.
