Abstract

The development of the city of Pekanbaru, people's lifestyles are changing every year so that there are more and more vehicles. Every motorized vehicle owner wants to carry out their own activities to make it easier. More and more vehicle users will also increase the need for public transportation. Scheduled transportation is also linked to the existing transportation system, and parking is an important part of the transportation system. However, there are still many parking violations in the city of Pekanbaru, forcing the Department of Transportation to control them in several areas. The Pekanbaru City Government has actually made arrangements and issued regulations as a follow-up to address violations in the administration of parking. But in fact there are still many vehicles and parking violations occur in Pekanbaru City so that the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service as an SKPD.. The main problem of this research is how is the implementation of parking fees for the community in the Bukitraya sub-district based on the Pekanbaru Mayor's Regulation Number 41 of 2022 concerning Parking Service Rates? and What are the sanctions given to parking attendants who commit violations? The research method used in this study is observational research, with data collection techniques namely questionnaires and interviews. Judging from the nature of this research, it is a descriptive research, namely research that provides a clear and detailed description of the main research issues. The results of the discussion of this study. The results of the discussion from this study are that the implementation of parking collection for the community in Bukitraya sub-district based on Pekanbaru Mayor Regulation Number 41 of 2022 concerning Parking Service Rates has been running according to the rules, parking officers are more disciplined in using parking attributes but in terms of service it is still very low . And the sanctions given to parking attendants who commit violations are in the form of a warning if the violation committed is minor and a warning if the violation has been committed more than once as well as direct action in the form of dismissal and revocation of KTA as a parking attendant.
