Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of competency and work discipline on teacher performance at the Riau Technology Islamic Boarding School. The population in this study was 40 teachers. The sampling technique in this research is using the census method technique by taking the entire population as a sample. In this case, the researcher took a sample of 40 teachers at the Riau Technology Islamic Boarding School by distributing questionnaires to the 40 sample teachers. The method used is descriptive analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The research results showed that competence and work discipline had a positive and significant effect simultaneously on teacher performance, competence had a partially positive and significant effect on teacher performance, and work discipline had a partially positive and significant effect on teacher performance.
