Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of work stress and the work environment on the performance of nurses at the Meranti Islands District General Hospital. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all nurses with THL status with a sample of 81 respondents. The sampling technique uses the census method. Data analysis includes validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t test, F test and coefficient of determination (R2). The research results stated that based on the partial test (t test) work stress had a negative and significant effect on nurses' performance. Then the work environment has a positive and significant effect on nurse performance. The results of the F test show that work stress and the work environment simultaneously influence the performance of nurses at the Meranti Islands District General Hospital.
