Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyse whether motivation and work discipline affect employee performance at Puskesmas Pekanbaru City. The population in this study were all employees of Puskesmas Pekanbaru medical personnel totalling 604 people. Using sampling technique, namely purposive sampling technique, the sample in this study was 100 medical employees spread across Puskesmas Limapuluh, Puskesmas Rejosari, and Puskesmas Pekanbaru Kota. Data analysis techniques include data quality tests (validity and reliability), classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heterokedastis), multiple regression linear analysis, and hypothesis testing (t test, F test, and coefficient of determination analysis). The results showed that work motivation and work discipline have a positive relationship with the performance of medical employees, which means that increasing motivation and work discipline together will improve the performance of medical employees.
