Abstract
This study aims to test and analyze the effect of managerial ownership, intellectual capital, sales growth and gender diversity variables on financial distress in consumer non-cyclical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2022 period. The population in this study was 125 consumer non-cyclical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2022 period. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique so that 30 companies were obtained that met the research criteria during the 2020-2022 period. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, it shows that the intellectual capital and gender diversity variables significantly affect financial distress. Managerial ownership and sales growth do not have a significant effect on financial distress. Simultaneously, the variables of managerial ownership, intellectual capital, sales growth and gender diversity do not have a significant effect on financial distress.
