Abstract

This research was conducted at SMA IT Soeman HS in Pekanbaru City. The study aims to determine the implementation of accounting at SMA IT Soeman HS in Pekanbaru City based on generally accepted accounting principles. This research is qualitative and uses a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. Based on the findings, the recording method applied is cash basis. SMA IT Soeman HS in Pekanbaru City has not yet fully implemented the complete accounting cycle. From the results of the study, the researcher concluded that the implementation of accounting at SMA IT Soeman HS in Pekanbaru City does not yet comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
