Abstract
Morality held a very important position, as it was an indicator of good character and purity of the soul. In education, morality was the output of successful learning. This research was motivated by the numerous instances of moral deviations observed among students, which, if not addressed, could pose significant threats in the future. The book Lembaga Budi was a highly beneficial resource for reading and in-depth study, as it contained moral education values and could serve as a reference for developing moral education materials for students. The aim of this research was to describe the moral education values for students in the book Lembaga Budi by Buya Hamka. This study employed a library research method, with the primary data source being the book Lembaga Budi, and secondary data sources obtained from the collection of information and data from relevant books, journals, and articles. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this research. The findings revealed several detailed categories of moral education values for students in Lembaga Budi by Buya Hamka, as follows: 1) Morality towards Allah SWT, including: a) Sincere intention towards Allah SWT, b) Piety towards Allah SWT, c) Gratitude towards Allah SWT. 2) Morality towards oneself, including: a) Avoiding sin, b) Perseverance, c) Avoiding laziness, d) Practicing knowledge, e) Humility. 3) Morality towards others, including: a) Obedience and respect towards teachers, b) Avoiding negative environments.
