Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of financial management in village government in Merangkai village, Dayun sub-district, Siak regency in order to fulfill the principles of accountability and transparency in accordance with permendagri No. 20 of 2018. This research is qualitative research. Data colction techniques in this research were interviews and documents. The result of this research is that the village government is accountable for fulfilling the priciples of accountability at the planning administration, reporting and accountability stages, meanwhile, in the implementation stage, it was not yet full appropriate because the implementing supervisor and chief of staff reported the final report on realization late after the specified time, furthermore, according to the pricipel of transparency, the village government has provide information related to accountability reports on the use of village funds through billboards installed in front of the village office. However, the completeness of information is not yet full in accordance with permendagri No. 20 of 2018 where the information is only provided by the APBDesa reprt, while for activites that have not been completed and/or not carried out, the remaining budget and complaint addresses do not yet exist.
