Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of investment opportunity set (IOS), institutional ownership, financial performance and capital structure on stock returns. This research was conducted on cement subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2018 to 2022 with a sample of 6 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression testing, with the Eviews application tool. The sample in this research was obtained using purposive sampling technique.Based on the results of the multicolinearity test, there werw 2 variabels that did not meet the requirements and were eliminated,so only 2 variabels passed the next test. The results of this study show that capital structure (DER) has a positive and significant influence on stock returns, institutional ownership (INST) have no effect on stock returns in cement subsector companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI).
