Abstract

The Relationship Between Parental Support and Academic Achievement in Islamic Studies Subject at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darut Taqwa of Rokan Hulu SITI ERMA LAILATUL JAMILA 202410093 This study aimed to determine and analyze the relationship between parental support and academic achievement in Islamic Studies subject at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darut Taqwa of Rokan Hulu. This was a quantitative study. The population of the study was students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darut Taqwa of Rokan Hulu. The sampling technique used was the probability sampling method. The sample size of the study consisted of 50 respondents. The data collection technique of the study was questionnaires. The data analysis techniques of the study were quantitative descriptive analysis and Simple Linear Regression Analysis performed by SPSS version 25. The results of the study showed that the parental support had a positive and significant influence on the academic achievement at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darut Taqwa of Rokan Hulu. It proved that the higher the support from parents, the greater the ability to improve academic achievement.
