Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Capital Structure, Capital Intensity Ratio, and Company Size on Profitability in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2023 period. Profitability is proxied by Return On Assets (ROA), Capital Structure is proxied by Debt Equity Ratio (DER), Capital Intensity Ratio is proxied by CIR, and Company Size is proxied by Size. The sample in this study is manufacturing companies in the food and beverage subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2019-2023 period. The number of samples used was 26 companies taken through purposive sampling, and the total of all samples was 95 samples. The analysis method of this study uses panel data regression with eviews version 12. The results of this study show that Capital Structure has no effect on Profitability in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2023 period. The Capital Intensity Ratio has a positive and significant effect on the Profitability of manufacturing companies in the food and beverage subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2023 period. Company Size has a negative effect on Profitability in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2023 period.
