Abstract

THE EFFECT OF TRANSACTIONAL LEADERSHIP STYLE AND EXTRINSIC MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE OF PTPN IV AFDELING VII KAMPAR This study aims to determine the effect of transactional leadership style and extrinsic motivation on employee performance at PTPN IV Afdeling VII Kampar. The population in this study was 250 employees with a sample of 77 respondents using the purposive sampling method. The types and sources of data are primary and secondary data, while data collection techniques use interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression testing with the help of SPSS 26 Software. The results of this study indicate that transactional leadership style and extrinsic motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PTPN IV Afdeling VII Kampar.
