Abstract

The background of this research was the innovation of online auctions for MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) products, which were implemented after the COVID-19 pandemic. This initiative aimed to help increase MSME sales, which had declined due to the pandemic's impact on product marketing. The online auction innovation was introduced because MSMEs serve as the driving force of the Indonesian economy. The purpose of this study was to examine the implementation of online auctions for MSME products at KPKNL Pekanbaru from the perspective of Islamic economics. This research employed a qualitative method, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. During the data collection process, the researcher interviewed seven informants. The findings revealed that the implementation of online auctions for MSME products at KPKNL Pekanbaru complied with the pillars and conditions of sale and purchase transactions in Islam. These included the presence of a seller, the goods being traded, a medium of exchange, the agreement (offer and acceptance), and fulfilling all the requirements for a valid transaction.
