Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on the performance of employees of the foaming service team at PT Timas Supindo Km 9, Duri Dumai, Airkulim village, Bathin Solapan sub-district, Bengkalis Riau Regency. This type of research uses quantitative methods. For the sampling method proportionate stratified random sampling by taking a sample of 54 people with data collection techniques used by the author is by interview method, questionnaire distribution, observation and documentation. While the data analysis used in this study using SPSS 25 is validity test, reliability test, normality test, simple linear analysis test, t test, and determination coefficient test (R2). The results of this study indicate that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination shows that R Square is obtained at 0.244 or 24.4%, meaning that the compensation variable affects the performance of the foaming service team employees at PT. Timas Suplindo Duri by 24.4% and 75.6% is influenced by other variables not taken in this study.
