Abstract
Research entitled "The Effect of POC NASA and NPK Grower on the yield of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) on PMK soil" was carried out at the Riau Islamic University Experimental Garden, Jln. Air Cool Ujung, Air Winter Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City for 3 months from February to May 2023. The research aims to determine the main and interaction effects of POC NASA and NPK Grower on the yield of cucumber plants on PMK soil. The research used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the NASA POC concentration (N) which consists of 5 treatment levels, namely 0, 2.5 ml/l water, 5 ml/l water, 7.5 ml/l water and 10 ml/l water. The second factor is the NPK Grower (G) dose which consists of 4 treatment levels, namely 0.5 g/plant, 10 g/plant and 15 g/plant. The parameters observed were flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit and longest fruit length. The observation data was analyzed statistically and carried out with a further Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of POC NASA and NPK Grower was significant on the parameters of flowering age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit and longest fruit length. The interaction of POC NASA and NPK Grower did not have a significant effect on harvest age parameters. The best treatment is a NASA POC concentration of 10 ml/l and an NPK Grower dose of 15 g/plant. The main effect of NASA POC was significant on all observation parameters with the best treatment being a NASA POC concentration of 10 ml/l. The main effect of NPK Grower was significant on all observation parameters with the best treatment dose of NPK Grower 15 g/plant.
