Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of burnout and the work environment on employee job satisfaction at Café/Resto in the city of Pekanbaru. This research was conducted on cafe/restaurant employees in Pekanbaru City, namely Melati Green Garden, Kepiting Tumpah X Juice Kita and Padussy Coffee & Eatery. The number of samples for this research is 70 employees in the entire research object, namely, the Melati Green Garden Café/restaurant has 34 employees, our Kepiting Tumpah using a sampling technique, namely census sampling. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation with quantitative approach data analysis using SEM-PLS multiple linear regression analysis modeling. It is known that the research results show that: (1) partially burnout has no effect and is not significant, (2) partially the work environment has a partial and significant effect, (3) simultaneously burnout and the work environment have a significant and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Café/ Restaurant in Pekanbaru city.
