Abstract

This study aims to find out whether Intrinsic Work Motivation and Work Discipline affect the Employee Performance of PT. PKS SPC at Balai Jaya Bagan Sinembah. The type of method used in this study is ex post facto with casual research type. The subjects in this study are employees of PT. PKS SPC at Balai Jaya Bagan Sinembah which is the object of this study is intrinsic work motivation and work discipline. The population in this study is 1,724 employees of PT. PKS with a sample of 94 employees. The data collection technique uses questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis techniques used to answer the hypothesis are multiple linear regression test, test f. t test and determination (R2). The results of this study show that (1) partial testing of intrinsic work motivation has a positive and significant influence and work discipline variables have a positive and significant influence on the performance of employees of PT. PKS SPC at Balai Jaya Bagan Sinembah (2) simultaneous testing of intrinsic work motivation and work discipline together has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT. PKS SPC at Balai Jaya Bagan Sinembah. Meanwhile, the magnitude of the relationship between variables was obtained with a determination coefficient (R2) value of 0.569 or 56.9% and the rest was influenced by other variables that were not present in this study.
