Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of overtime working hours and the work environment on employee job satisfaction at PT. Tasma Puja – KBC, which is located in three villages: Kepayang Sari Village, Cenaku Kecil Village, and Anak Talang Village, in Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The population in this study consists of all employees working at the company, totaling 163 people. The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling. The sample consists of 69 office employees, selected from the total population of 163 employees. The data collection techniques used in this research are questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study indicate that overtime working hours and the work environment have a significant influence on job satisfaction, and that both variables simultaneously and significantly affect employee job satisfaction.
