Abstract

This research was carried out at the Pekanbaru City Regional Development Planning Agency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of public organizations at the Pekanbaru City Regional Development Planning Agency in carrying out one of its duties and functions, namely the implementation of the evaluation of subordinate tasks within the agency by comparing the operational plan with the tasks that have been carried out as material for activity reports and performance improvements in the future. The method used is quantitative descriptive using five performance assessment indicators, namely Strategic Decisions, Long-Term Planning, Operational Planning, Performance Measurement and Management, and Incentive Compensation. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The withdrawal of research samples was carried out by census/total sampling technique at the office of the Regional Development Planning Agency of Pekanbaru City. The results of the analysis of this study, namely the Strategic Decision indicator is in the "Good" category with a percentage of 67.44%, the Long-Term Planning indicator is categorized as "Good" with a percentage of 79.49%, the Operational Planning indicator is categorized as "Good" with a percentage of 70.51%, the Performance Measurement and Management indicator is categorized as "Very Good" with a percentage of 82.70%, and the Incentive Compensation indicator is categorized as "Good" with a percentage of 69, 87%. So, the overall performance results of the Pekanbaru City Regional Development Planning Agency are said to be "Good" with an average percentage of 74%, as evidenced by the data that will be presented in the form of a frequency table and its explanation.
