Abstract

Agroindustry has the potential to increase added value and produce marketable products, thereby increasing income and profits. The purpose of this study was to analyze: 1. Characteristics of entrepreneurs and pineapple pie business profiles in Hanisuncake, 2. Use of raw materials, supporting materials, production processes, production technology and use of pineapple pie labor in Hanisuncake, 3. Production costs, production, income, business efficiency, break event point (BEP) and added value of pineapple pie businesses in Hanisuncak, 4. Marketing of pineapple pies which include: marketing institutions and channels, marketing functions, marketing costs, marketing profits, marketing margins, and marketing efficiency of pineapple pie businesses in Hanisuncake. This study was conducted using a case study method. The technique for determining respondents was by census. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods and used the Hayami method. The results showed that: 1. Characteristics of entrepreneurs aged 40 years, education level 12 years and business experience 12 years. 2. The raw materials used for one production are 15 kg. The raw materials used come from Siak Regency and Kualu District and the supporting materials used come from the regional market of Tenayan Raya District. The technology used is modern technology, the workforce in the pie making process is labor outside the family. 3. The production cost incurred to make pineapple pie per production process is Rp 641,088.70, the production of pineapple pie produced is 30 boxes. The gross income received by the entrepreneur in each production process is Rp 750,000.00, the net income obtained is Rp 108,911.30, and the efficiency of the pineapple pie agroindustry business (RCR) is 1.17. This means that for pineapple pie in the Hanisuncake agroindustry it is profitable or efficient. The added value generated from the pineapple pie production process is Rp 18,371.86 / Kg input. 4. There are 2 marketing channels in the pineapple pie business. There are 6 marketing functions carried out. The largest marketing costs are in channel II of Rp 600 / pcs. Marketing profits are in channel I of Rp 3,130.38 / pcs. The most profitable efficiency in channel II is 4.40%.
